Kato Craig, Esquire

Kato's path to becoming an attorney is rooted in resilience, personal growth, and a deep commitment to public service.  Raised in a low-income household, Kato experienced firsthand many of the challenges faced by individuals and families navigating difficult circumstances. Those experiences shaped his perspective and instilled in him a strong sense of empathy and dedication to advocating for others.

As a teenager, Kato had direct exposure to the juvenile court system, an experience that profoundly influenced his desire to pursue a career in law. Having once been on the other side of the courtroom, he brings a unique understanding of the fear, uncertainty, and pressure that many individuals face when involved in the legal system. This background allows him to connect with clients in a meaningful way and advocate for them with both compassion and determination.

Kato earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln College of Law, where he developed a strong foundation in legal advocacy and public service. He combines that legal training with his personal experiences and genuine care for others to pursue the best possible outcomes for those he represents. Kato believes strongly in the idea that individuals are capable of change and growth when given the opportunity and support to do so. He approaches each case with the goal of ensuring that every client is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.

Kato practices Family, Juvenile, and Criminal Law. At the core of Kato’s work as an attorney is a simple principle: every person deserves to be heard, valued, and given the opportunity to move forward.
